why cant i get my 2" Roman Ogee Raised Panel to fit in the stiles and rails?

i just bought a reversible s and r bit for my router and they worked great. but when i went to use the Roman Ogee Raised Panel bit i found out that the tongue cut on the panel wasn't long enough to slip in groove made in the rail. the curve of the panel was hitting way to soon. i have a picture of it if you would like to see what i am talking about. but i was wondering if anyone has ever used a 2" panel bit and how it worked for them. the ebay site that i bought it off of if you would like to see the product is http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&item=140277234051. let me know what you think!

Well the panel is not supposed to bottom out in the stiles & rails. Its supposed to float to allow for expansion in the wood. You use tiny nails from the back to hold it in place.
This is of course assuming that you cut everything right.
