Can I use a compressor for propane brazing / welding?
Hi there - I recently bought a 2hp 100 lt compressor - I tried using the air supply on my portable propane / oxygen kit and it doesnt work. I thought the compresor could serve as an air supply instead of forking out for the pricey oxygen bottles! Guess im wrong or what?? I thought normal air would work, or is there a ratio in the gas companies when they fill the tanks? I do light joinery (1-2mm) and auto body work, nothing hectic..
