Board Assembly And Sealing Strategies

Humiseal brand coatings and other products can be made from compounds like silicone, polyurethane and acrylics. They can be applied in a variety of ways like dipping, brushing, spraying and application by programmed robotic gear.Another difference exists in the types of coatings used on boards, and that's in how the coating is cured.

A circuit board design, depending on its function, could be a good one for dipping if full coverage is desired. It isn't likely that there'll be missed spots as can occur with hand spraying or brushing. One major drawback for those who handle board assembly is that dipping will slow down the production process. That's because dipped boards have to be dipped in coating that won't be quick-cured.

Curing is usually done through things like UV lights, air drying or heating. Any curing methodology that's fast won't generally work for dipped boards. Air drying takes longer so the boards will be down out of the assembly line while this is taking place.

It's also important to remember that coatings with epoxy in them, with no regard for the curing technique, have the ability to shrink as they set which can cause damage to the electronics. Epoxy might also conform to surface defects more than other coatings.

Curing with UV lights, on the other hand, is a fast and trusty process. The fast cure sets the coating uniformly, without drying in some areas and not others, shrinking or stretching, cracking or other tensions, as long as the coating is one that works nicely with UV light curing.

At MOR Manufacturing, UV light curing permits your circuit board design to be covered with robotic PVA application, cured, and sent on to board assembly or to be packed as the final product inside a minute. This speeds up the production process instead of wasting time on waiting for the coating to dry and set.

The coating of Humiseal is a last step in board assembly, guarding and insulating the electronics. Let MOR Manufacturing at www.mormfg.com use UV curing to get your boards from coating to the very next step in a single minute.

Accounting Software?

I had some accounting training 20 years ago, and it was the old school method with paper journals, ledgers, and worksheets. At the time, my class was just being introduced to dBase, Word Perfect, and Lotus1-2-3.

I am currently teaching myself Microsoft Office Suite, at home.
Should I also learn Quicken and Peachtree, to stay competitive in the job market for positions such as: bookeeper/accounting clerk?

I have been working in circuit board assembly, and my office skills have become rusty. What courses/software applications are currently in demand in the accounting/financial job market?

Look in the newspapers, help wanted, on line jobs etc..
See what each company advertising wants, or requires, you to know, or be familiar with.
