I was told my many mechanics that high flow air filters such as KN Air filters don't increase horse power of gas mileage at all. It is the shape and flow of the intake tubing that determines that. I bought one and I don't really feel a difference. Also, does the Tornado "air charger" really work? It's the fan-like thing that fits in your intake tube.
People claim the K&N is the best thing ever. IF they are over-oiled, they can cause failure of the MAF because the filter oil gets on the hot wire element and burns it out.
